Boston – August 31, 2017 – Homesite Insurance (Homesite), in conjunction with the American Family Dreams Foundation, will donate $25,000 to the JJ Watt Hurricane Harvey Houston Flood Relief Fund. Additionally, Homesite employees will donate funds that will be matched by the company of up to an additional $25,000, resulting in a potential contribution of $75,000. The JJ Watt Hurricane Harvey Houston Flood Relief Fund has raised more than $9.6 million in less than one week.

“The devastation in Texas is unimaginable, so we immediately knew we wanted to help the victims of this catastrophic hurricane,” said Chris Conti, executive vice president of operations and human resources at Homesite. “We are honored to make a donation to JJ Watt’s Hurricane Harvey fund and help many Texans get back on their feet.”

Homesite employees will also donate to local Houston organizations and national recovery nonprofits such as the American Red Cross that are providing assistance to displaced individuals.

“We know the road to recovery may be a long one for many individuals impacted by the hurricane and flooding in Texas. We hope that our contribution, along with the donations from people from all over the world, helps Texans recover as soon as possible,” Conti said.
